It’s hard to believe, but the first Twilight movie is now approaching its 18th anniversary!
The supernatural romance, based on Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling book series, premiered in theaters on November 21, 2008. The original film launched a five-movie franchise and turned stars including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner into household names.
Nearly 18 years later, many of the actors have entered a very different chapter of their lives. Several Twilight stars have gotten married, welcomed children and expanded their families since the saga came to an end in 2012.
And there’s some especially big family news in 2026: Taylor Lautner recently became a dad for the first time.
So, which Twilight stars are parents today? And which fan-favorite star revealed that she and her partner froze their eggs?

Taylor Lautner Is Now a Dad
Taylor Lautner, who played werewolf Jacob Black, is the latest major Twilight star to become a parent.
Taylor and his wife, Tay Lautner, welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Lennon Taylor Lautner, in September 2026.
The couple announced the birth in a social media post, revealing that Lennon arrived on September 16.
The new arrival gives fans another reason to celebrate one of the actors who helped make the Twilight franchise a worldwide phenomenon.
Robert Pattinson Is a Dad
Robert Pattinson became a father after his Twilight days as Edward Cullen.
Pattinson and singer Suki Waterhouse welcomed their first child together in March 2024. The couple has kept much of their family life private, and they have not publicly shared extensive details about their child.
Pattinson has also spoken about how becoming a father has influenced his approach to his work.
Nikki Reed Has Two Children
Nikki Reed, who played Rosalie Hale, is also a mom of two.
Reed and her husband, The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder, welcomed their daughter Bodhi in August 2017. The couple later welcomed a son in June 2023.
The two actors, who both became famous playing vampires in separate supernatural franchises, have largely kept their children away from the spotlight.
Jackson Rathbone Is a Dad of Three
Jackson Rathbone played Jasper Hale in the Twilight movies and has built a family of his own.
Rathbone and his wife, Sheila Hafsadi, welcomed their first son, Monroe Jackson Rathbone VI, in July 2012.
Their daughter Presley Bowie arrived in June 2016, followed by their third child, son Felix, in December 2019.
That means Rathbone is now a father of three.
Kellan Lutz Has Two Children
Kellan Lutz, who portrayed Emmett Cullen, is another Cullen family member who became a parent.
Lutz and his wife, Brittany, welcomed daughter Ashtyn Lilly in February 2021. Their son Kasen Lane was born in August 2022.
The actor has continued to stay connected with some of his former Twilight castmates over the years, even as their lives have moved far beyond Forks.
Ashley Greene Is a Mom
Ashley Greene played Alice Cullen, one of the most beloved members of the Cullen family.
Greene and her husband, Paul Khoury, welcomed their first child, daughter Kingsley Rainn Khoury, in September 2022.

Peter Facinelli Became a Dad Again
Peter Facinelli played Carlisle Cullen, the patriarch of the Cullen family.

Michael Welch, who played Mike Newton, is a father of two daughters with his wife Samantha.
Billy Burke, who played Bella Swan’s father Charlie, has one daughter, Bluesy LaRue Burke.
Rachelle Lefevre, who originally played Victoria, is a mother of two children with her husband Chris Crary. The couple keeps their children mostly out of the public eye.
Bryce Dallas Howard, who took over the role of Victoria in Eclipse, is also a mother of two with husband Seth Gabel. Their children are Theodore and Beatrice.
Kristen Stewart Froze Her Eggs
Kristen Stewart, who played Bella Swan, is one Twilight star who isn’t a parent but has spoken publicly about keeping the possibility of having children open.
In March 2024, Stewart revealed that she and her then-fiancée, now wife, Dylan Meyer, had both frozen their eggs.
Stewart said the decision meant they could keep the option of having children in the future if they chose to.
The actress and Meyer later married in 2025, but Stewart has not announced that they have welcomed a child.
The Twilight Story Is Coming Back to TV
The Twilight universe isn’t finished yet.
Netflix is developing Twilight of the Moon: Midnight Sun, an animated series based on Stephenie Meyer’s Midnight Sun. Unlike the original Twilight story, the companion novel retells the events from Edward Cullen’s perspective.
Netflix announced the animated project in 2024, and a 2026 casting update indicated that work was moving forward, including casting searches for Jacob Black and Billy Black.
For fans who grew up with Bella, Edward and Jacob, it means the Twilight universe is getting another chance to return to the screen — this time in animated form.
The Twilight Cast Has Certainly Grown Up
From vampires and werewolves to weddings and babies, the lives of the Twilight cast have changed dramatically since the first movie arrived in 2008.
